the easy way to unlock your apple iphone.
ok so you have a 4 or 8 gb iphone ..
and you want to unlock it..
A. Use a ATT Sim From another phone
B. Use a ATT Prepaid Sim
C. Use a Tmobile sim
D. You Don't need service you just want to play with all the features.
E. You have a contract and your iphone is activated through iTunes and ATT and you want acess to more features and modify what you have.
any of the above is why you would want to unlock your phone.
First.
People get all confused.... and fusterated at this point... you get it in your head your are going to do this
and you don't know where to start.
Get 1.1.1 Firmware, you are ether above or below this firmware.
its ok.
you use itunes to update or downgrade to this.
with Shift and Click on ok once you click on restore.
you may have to put the phone in recovery mode to do this
hold power and home button for 10 seconds
then let go of the power button still holding the home button
hold the home button for 10 more seconds and let go.
connect it up and load itunes.
restore it with 1.1.1
Now Kick your iPhone out of recovery mode.
If you are on a Mac, download iNdependence, and launch it. Wait a minute or so, and your iPhone will be pulled out of recovery mode.
If you are on a PC, download iBrickr and launch it. Wait a minute or so, and your iPhone will be pulled out of recovery mode.
Bypass activation and jailbreak 1.1.1
Your iPhone, even if it is locked to AT&T’s network, will not be able to activate through iTunes at this point. Instead, you need to temporarily bypass activation. This is the trickiest part of the process. Follow these steps:
Slide the “slide for emergency” slider
Enter *#307# and press “Call.” Your iPhone will start to ring.
The screen should quickly show the dialer again, and you will be able to edit the numbers. Tap the “X” button to delete all the characters (*#307#) and enter “0″ then tap “Call” again.
Tap “Answer”
Tap “Hold”
Tap “Decline”
You should now see the iPhone’s normal dialer.
Tap “Contacts” at the bottom of the screen.
Add a new contact and name it whatever you want.
Tap “Add new URL,” and enter prefs: (that’s the word prefs with a colon after it). Save the URL.
Tap “Add new URL” again and enter http://jailbreakme.com. Save the URL.
Save the contact.
Now tap the URL “prefs:” that you just created. This will launch the iPhone’s Settings application.
Now tap “General,” then “Auto-Lock” and change the setting to “Never”
Scroll up and tap “Wi-Fi.” Select your network and enter a password if necessary.
Press the iPhone’s home button. You will be back at the “Activate” screen.
Slide the emergency slider and tap “0″ then tap Call.
Tap Answer.
Tap Hold.
Tap Decline.
You will now be back at the Contacts screen.
Tap the contact you created before, and this time tap the http://jailbreakme.com URL. This will launch Safari and access the jailbreakme page.
Tap “Install AppSnapp” on that page. You will be return to the “Activate” screen. Do not touch anything at this point — wait until your iPhone automatically restarts.
You will see the “Activate” screen again. At this point, you can slide your iPhone to unlock it and see the normal home screen. You can now access all of your iPhone functions except for the phone.
[If any part of this step fails, turn your iPhone off by holding the sleep/wake button until the power off slider appears and sliding it, then turn the iPhone back on and try again.]
and your are pretty much done...
i mean some people go through all the trouble to update to 1.1.2 and then 1.1.3
but i don't see the point at this time.
just stay with what works and enjoy.

Spill something in your new apple keyboard?
Let' say you bit the bullet went out and bought one of those new aluminum apple keyboards.
and your not paying attention, and you spill something in it..
milk pop beer hot coco any of the sort...
this is what you do.
You may cringe but this is what i did.. and every key works ...
its back just like new.
Completely submerse the keyboard in the hottest hot water from the faucet.
if there were any keys that were sticky or sticking, now is the time to work those keys up and down...
keep pressing the keys till they no longer stick/ while the hot water is pouring on the keyboard all at the
same time.
then as soon as you have un stuck the keys...
you take it over to the air compressor and you blow the hell outta the keyboard... start at one end and make a back and
forth motion across all the keys until you go from one end of the KBD to the other.
if you don't have a air compressor get a can of air... get a wash cloth and put it in hot water as well and wrap it around the can
it helps the not ice up so fast... because you are going to use almost the whole can.
while you are doing this ... tilt one end toward the floor and start at the other end. The water you are trying to get outta the keyboard has to go some where...
then get some paper towel and clean up the best you can...
Grab a hair dryer and turn it on high... and run it over the keyboard back on forth, start at one end and work your way to the other end ... be meticulous.
at this point once you are done... you are pretty much ready to plug back in and use... but if you are still not satisfied that its dry then you can lay it against the wall for a day.
that fixed mine and i am sure it would fix yours.
Also i noticed all those new function keys only work when you are running 10.4.11
10.4.10 did not allow the function key at the top to work correctly.

Epp 008 * build your own mac *!!!
This goes over the best parts to build your own man for the lowest posable price.
i had a video but i removed it.
there are some basics that you need to follow.
when choosing your hardware try to get the same stuff that apple is using then you
will have a real mac.. and that is the point here.
Intel Main Boards
945G Great Chip-set included support for Most Dual Core Core2's and GMA 950 graphics and its fully supported as well.
946 Also Great, Some of these are quad core capable as well. these include gma x3000 and currently is not compatible
so you will need natit 2.0 and a 7300 7600 7800 Nvidia card in order for the graphics to be perfect.
Marvel Gigabit and Realtek is also fully supported
Realtek 888 and 883 are fully supported sound chipsets if you have a choice pick 883 because all the sound in/out ports work 100%
then hit piratebay and get your 10.4.11 or 10.5.2 image burn it ... install it... and follow any instructions that it came with..
and they you have your self a 100% good to go mac.
